- Sunflower Oil: Helps support the hooves natural moisture barrier.
- Beeswax: Ethically sourced in the UK, beeswax is an incredible ingredient. We’ve used it in the Hoof Balm to enhance hoof elasticity. It is also anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and germicidal
- Shea Butter: Another delicious moisture-booster, this ingredient helps our Hoof Balm soak into the hoof wall for full benefit.
- Eucalyptus: Powerful anti-fungal properties to keep the bacteria at bay.
- Lemongrass: Another anti-bacterial, anti-fungal ingredient. When combined with the Eucalyptus, your horses feet will smell amazing!

How often should I use the Hoof Balm?
You can use it everyday if you want to! We recommend at least 2-3 times a week to maintain hoof condition.
Is it vegan?
No, we use beeswax in this product. Whether bee farming is considered ethical or not depends on various factors, including how the bees are treated, their welfare, and the broader environmental impacts of beekeeping practices. Please be reassured that we spend more on our beeswax to source it from a local farm in Wiltshire, UK where the bees are managed as part of a wider ecosystem and their welfare is always prioritised.
Is it cruelty-free?
Yes. We will not sell anything that has been tested on anything other than our own animals!
Will it prevent my horse from future hoof issues?
Yes, this product can help with a number of hoof complaints: cracks, thrush to name a few. The key to healthy hooves is regular farrier visits, a healthy diet suitable for the species and products that help manage their sometimes unnatural environment.
How should I store the Hoof Balm?
Store out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place.
What is the shelf-life of the Hoof Balm?
Our core ingredients have a lengthy shelf life, but we do recommend using your Balm within 12 months.
How long will a tin last?
On the average horse, using the balm 2-3 times a week, we’d estimate the product will last around 6-8 weeks.
How do I dispose of the packaging once it’s finished?
The aluminium bottle is 100% recyclable, so can go into your recycling bin. Just give it a quick rinse first. The pump can be reused – just come back to our website and purchase a refill when you’re ready!
