Did you know that many Hoof Oils contain acetone, formaldehyde and/or alcohol, which will damage the protective fats and dry out the hoof? Yuk!
Not only that, when they inevitably wash off and end up in our waterways they have the potential to be highly toxic to marine life.So many farriers complain when us horse owners use these acetone-based products on our horses hooves as they are so drying.We had to find a better, more sustainable way to achieve shiny toes!
This gorgeous Hoof Shine not only adds show-ring shine when you're out and about, it contains all of the essential fats and oils to nourish your horses hooves, keeping them protected as we come into the drier weather.
This is possibly our favourite innovation from EQWax. Who else gets fed up of that sticky mess left by most plaiting sprays?
This plaiting wax not only holds the mane/tail in place, it contains nourishing oils so will continue to condition the hair after the show is done.
You can also use it to smooth flyaway hairs on their mane, tail and forelock to look a bit more neat and tidy. We also love the fact that this product contains fly repelling oils too - perfect for summer shows!
It's really easy to apply as a soft wax and has quickly become a staple part of our grooming kit.
There are two 'flavours' available: Lavender or Lemongrass - both have fly repelling properties.
