EqWax: Eucalyptus & Lavender Horse-Fly Repellent Balm
If you have a particular horse fly problem, this is the repellent for you!
This repellent specifically targets horse flies (although will work to repel other flies as well).
Not only is this product super effective at keeping the horse flies at bay, we also love the eco-friendly, completely recyclable packaging.
If your horse hates having fly repellent sprayed onto their face and body then this product is perfect. Use either a cloth (the soft side of our Scrubbies are ideal for this!) or soft brush to apply the repellent once a day.
WHY IT'S SUSTAINABLE
One tin of Eucalyptus and Lavender Horse Fly Repellent – particularly recommended for use against horseflies (clegs) but will repel normal flies as well.
✅ Long-lasting & effective, doesn’t evaporate quickly like sprays
✅ All natural plant-based ingredients – no harsh chemicals like DEET or permethrin
✅ Great for nervous horses who don’t like sprays – brush, sponge or wipe on
✅ Utilises the horsefly repelling properties of Lavender and Eucalyptus in a soft wax base
✅ Supplied in a 250ml plastic-free recyclable aluminium tin
Will stick to the coat and remain active for 24 hours.
HOW TO USE
- Wipe a little Horse Fly Repellent on to your brush
- Lightly brush
You can also wipe the repellent on if you like, which can be useful around areas such as eyes, ears, udders and sheaths, or even just wipe it on with your fingers.
As with any new product, it is advisable to do a patch test on a small area first.
