- Shake it like a polaroid picture
- Spray liberally onto horses coat, paying particular attention to insect-prone areas
- When you've run out, keep this bottle, pour in the 50ml refill and repeat the above!
- Apply daily. Shake bottle before each use.

How to apply to your horse:
- Neem oil – this natural ingredient is well known for its pesticidal properties. We think it's one of natures most incredible ingredients as it's antifungal properties make it ideal for soothing red, inflamed skin!
- Panthenol – great for healthy coat and condition. It also moisturises the skin.
- Glycerine – a natural humectant. Emollient and moisturiser.
- All ingredients are pH balanced for horses skin.
- ALL the essential oils used are known for their insect repellent properties: flies, gnats, mosquitos, ants, fleas, spiders, ticks, bees and wasps.
- Preservative 12: A palm oil-free, formaldehyde-free, vegan and biodegradable preservative.

How often should I use the Bug Barrier?
You can use it as much as you want to! We recommend a thorough spray first thing in the morning and again before nighttime for complete protection.
Is it vegan?
Yes! There are no animal derivatives used in this product.
Is it cruelty-free?
Yes. We will not sell anything that has been tested on anything other than our own animals!
Beware of ingredients like Icaridin, Picaridin and Saltidin commonly found in fly sprays as these have all been (and continue to be) tested on mammals in labs.
Can the Bug Barrier be used on horses with sensitive skin?
Yes, it is suitable for horses with sensitive skin, although please always patch test before use.
How should I store the Bug Barrier?
Store out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place.
What is the shelf-life of the Bug Barrier?
Our core ingredients have a lengthy shelf life, but we do recommend using your Bug Barrier within 12 months.
Can I use the Bug Barrier on myself?
We wouldn't recommend it, as the ingredient %'s have been designed for protection of horses not humans.
How long will a bottle last?
On the average horse, using the product twice a day we’d estimate the product will last around 3-4 weeks. Don't forget, you can buy Refills for a fraction of the price of your 'Keep Me' bottle on our site too, which represents a significant cost saving versus other fly sprays!
How do I dispose of the packaging once it’s finished?
The bottle is designed to be used for several seasons, so when it runs out, keep the bottle and spray head and just head to our site to buy a Refill.
